Our Mission

We transform chaos into sanctuary. Through intentional design and thoughtfully curated furnishings, we create environments that inspire calm, connection, and a more beautiful way of living.

How it all began...

Yes — we really did meet in high school. Lucky ducks, we know:)

Twenty-five years ago, we took a deep breath and gutted our very first condo, with no idea it would turn into a whole life. Dozens of homes later — remodeled, renovated, and built from the ground up — we've come to believe that every house has its own soul, and its own story it's quietly waiting to tell.

Somewhere along the way, the adventure became the calling. Malia followed the vision into interior design; Lance grounded it in craft and earned his general contractor's license. Today we work alongside a trusted team of architects, subcontractors, and craftspeople we genuinely love — though don't be surprised to catch the two of us with our sleeves rolled up and our hands right in it too.

It's also why we opened the doors to our own shop — a place to gather the furnishings, textiles, and pieces we can't stop loving, so the homes we design can be brought to life start to finish, under one roof. It's something few designers can offer, and something we're quietly proud of.

Big project or small, a single thoughtful room or a whole home reimagined down to the studs, what we love most is helping people shape the spaces they live in into something that feels honestly, fully theirs. And after all these years, watching someone step into their finished home and just exhale? That never gets old.

"Make beauty wherever I go"- Mamuse

That lyric found me years ago and never quite left. It's still the truest thing I can say about how I work — and how I try to live.

I've always felt it in my own body — a beautiful, calm space quiets my mind and steadies me, like an exhale I didn't know I was holding. Beauty isn't surface to me. The spaces around us shape how we feel — a considered room can settle you, soften a hard day, bring you back to yourself. Your home is your refuge, not a showroom, not a performance — a haven that feels grounded, calm, and unmistakably yours. I'd rather a room feel right than feel impressive.

That word — right — is the heart of it for me. It's why I hold to pono, a Hawaiian idea that means integrity, balance, and doing what's genuinely true. It's woven into my roots — my mother was an interior designer in Honolulu, and design was simply in the air I grew up in — and it's the standard I hold every project to.

Twenty-five years on — from California to my own shop and studio here in Central Oregon — what I love hasn't changed. I listen closely and I design around your vision. I feel genuinely grateful to do this work, and I'd be honored to help you make something beautiful .

XOXO, Malia
